Running with my Gnomies
50K and 25K races
May 14, 2022
If you think you know the trails at Camp Tuscazoar, THINK AGAIN!!
This race will will take you on trails you didn't know were there and to places where usually only the Gnomes go! That being said if you want a flat fast race this is not the race you are looking for,(Check out our Get Lucky 50/50 race for that) if you want a challenging, unique, beautiful course this is it!! (The Tuscazoar 100's evil little sister!!) May 15th, 8am start.
Running with My Gnomies is a 25k and 50k through the hills of Camp Tuscazoar in Beautiful Tuscarawas county Ohio
Not only will you get to run with your Gnomies (Friends) you will also run with Gnomes! As you run along the course look for the gnomes of Tuscazoar.
There are many of them hiding among the rocks and trees of the Camp Tuscazoar forest. Count and see if you can find them all!
They will have letters to spell out a message that if you know at the finish you will receive an EXTRA BIT OF SWAG!!
THE RACE IS ON!
Running With My Gnomies takes place almost completely on Camp Tuscazoar property, so permits are not an issue as they have been lately with other races. We do plan on following any covid-19 safety measures that are needed at the time of the race. (staggered start, no contact aid stations etc) Those details will be sent out closer to race date.
NEW THIS YEAR! THE GNOMIE 9ish!!!
We decide to add a 9 mile (give or take a bit LOL) distance this year. The race will start at the same time as the other distances this will allow you to run a friend that may not want to do a 25k or 50k to run with you for part of the 25k! The 9ish mile course will follow the same route as the other distances and break off early to head back to the finish line! So bring your Homies to Run with the Gnomies!
The course is a 25k loop (the 50k race runs 2 loops).
It is a combination of single-track trails, bridal trails, and a short distance of gravel access road, all on the Camp Tuscazoar property.
Our aid stations are always OVER stocked with all your favorites and then some.
You should never have to worry about not having the fuel you need! There will be 1 aid station midway though the loop and one at the start/finish area which 50k runners will hit after their 1st loop.

Camp Tuscazoar is a nearly 100-year old Boy Scout camp. They have many accommodations to fit your needs. Plenty of primitive camping is located throughout the camp in different forms from tents, adirondack shelters, and campers/RVs, both with and without hookups. They also offer bunkhouse style cabins with beds that can be purchased per bed and a few cabins that could fit your whole crew. Please contact Camp Tuscazoar directly to make reservations.
We encourage entrants to stay at the camp, but understand it may not fit everyone's needs, there are also several nice B&Bs located right on the course.
